With Valentines Day just around the corner, it’s time to get romantic! Scented candles are one of the best ways to create an intimate setting, and even when I’m home alone I love to have candles and fairy lights on – I find the soft lighting is just so relaxing. This candle from Melt is scented with verbena and clary sage, with notes of silver lavender, cashmere woods and white cedar. Verbena is one of my favourite scents, and while it’s usually known for its uplifting properties, with this candle it’s a very soothing aroma. I can’t help picking up my candle to take more of its scent in with a deeper breath when it’s lit! Scrummy 🙂

Lavender scented candles are so lush, I love them! I havnt tried one of these before i normally stick with ones from http://www.aromatherapygold.com/aromatherapy-candles.html I might branch out my variety though.
