What is it about evening dresses and gardens with me? This is the third shoot we’ve done of that kind – hope you guys aren’t too bored of it already (I’ll stop, I promise)! I think I just love the romanticism of a girly dress amid all that green. With prom season fast approaching I thought I’d do this shoot for all of my younger readers (sigh, there was a time when I was young enough to still be at school too …) as a bit of promspiration. This ballerina-style dress is definitely one for prom as it’s super girly, with floral appliqué and jewelled detail on the bust and a floaty tutu skirt. You instantly feel more princessy than normal as soon as you slip it on. Because I’m not into overly feminine looks myself, I toned down the dress with a simple pony, minimal jewellery and toe-capped heels, but for full princess effect wear with some super high nude heels, a statement necklace and glamorous waves. May you be the belle of the ball x

Such a beautiful dress! I love the detailing of it but the tutu would be a bit too much for me as I’m not that girly. You look beautiful wearing it though!
